Acclaimed frontman and founder of The Wood Brothers, Oliver Wood, is taking his solo venture across the Northeast this September and will be performing at Naples and Saratoga Springs.
The six-concert tour is scheduled to start on September 12 with a show at Harken Hall in Nashville, Tennessee as a part of the Grassroots & Nudie Suits Festival. Afterwards, Wood will head towards the Northeastern states for shows in Naples and Saratoga Springs, Arundel, Maine; Exeter, New Hampshire; and Northampton, Massachusetts. Ric Robertson will be supporting Wood at each show in the Northeast.
Wood will be playing music from his solo albums: Always Smilin’, released in 2021, and Fat Cat Silhouette, released in 2024, along with songs from his past, including those that are tributes to his passion for country blues of the mid-20th century.

Wood has several upcoming concerts after touring all summer long with The Wood Brothers. In his solo performances, Wood is also expected to perform some old songs by his previous band King Johnson, an Atlanta-based music sensation that emerged in the 1990s and early 2000s.
Recently, Wood launched the self-titled debut album by Slow Accordion, a musical project that features Nashville based artists Matt Glassmeyer, Ted Pecchio, and Mark Raudabaugh. This album deals with guitar improvisations and presents the other side of Wood’s musical skills.
