Fridays at the Lake has returned to Shepard Park in Lake George for a summer of live music and fun.
The annual, free-to-the-public music festival kicked off July 10 and will run through August 28.
Adding to the excitement for this summer’s series is the transformation of Shepard Park into a state-of-the-art performance space that is being completed to replace the bandshell that was destroyed by fire. The new stage, which includes a 46-foot rear wall and modern sound, lights and visual systems, will enhance the audience’s enjoyment of every event in the park.

Bands will perform every Friday through the end of August. Additionally, there will be a three-day Kelly’s Angels festival from July 23 to 25 to raise awareness and funds for area children who have lost a parent or sibling to cancer. There will also be a two-day festival from July 31 to August 1 to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Albany.
This upcoming Friday, July 17, the series will continue with two of the region’s legendary rock bands, E.B. Jeb and Bluz House Rockers.
E.B. Jeb has been presenting packed audiences with an authentic Southern rock musical experience for more than 40 years. Playing audience favorites by the Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd and many others, the eight piece band features two drummers who create a powerful rhythmic backbone while the trio of guitarists weave intricate techniques that honor the genre, transporting audiences to the world of Southern rock. They have opened for many national acts, including the Charlie Daniels Band, The Outlaws, Molly Hatchet and Blackfoot. They will bring rock to Shepard Park from 7:30-9:30 on July 17.
Bluz House Rockers have been rocking the Capital Region for more than 30 years. They have opened for Pat Benatar, Joan Jett, Roberta Flack, Eddie Money, Marshall Tucker, Little Feat, Loverboy, the Fabulous Thunderbirds, John Mayall, The Turtles and many more. Bluz House Rockers will perform from 6:00-7:10 and join E.B. Jeb on stage for a few songs.

All Fridays at the Lake are free to the public, and food and beverage vendors will be on site.
