Live music will once again fill the air in Tupper Lake this summer as Tupper Arts brings back its annual Summer Sunset Series at the Tupper Lake Bandshell in Flanders Park, running throughout July and August.
The series will include a mix of tribute acts, jazz, blues, folk, rock, Americana, and family-friendly entertainment. Concerts take place outdoors, giving attendees a chance to enjoy live music in one of the Adirondacks’ most nature-appreciative settings.
The 2026 season kicks off on July 4 as part of Tupper Lake’s Independence Day celebration. Opening day performances include Drifter, Night School, and Music of the Beach Boys featuring Pet Sounds Live.
The July 4 event will run throughout the afternoon and evening before ending with a fireworks show.
The schedule continues with performances from The Dave Matthews Tribute, New Horizons Swing Ambassadors, Fenimore Blues, Annie & the Hedonists, Toby Couture Quintet, Folkfaces, Jamcrackers, and Gratefully Yours. The series will also feature a Shakespeare in the Park performance by the ADK Lakes Theatre Festival.
Additional highlights include a July 18 appearance by American Girl, a Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers tribute band, as part of Tupper Arts’ ongoing celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.
Other acts scheduled for the summer include Buffalo roots group Folkfaces, Vermont’s All Night Boogie Band, Grateful Dead tribute act Gratefully Yours, and New Yacht City, which closes the season on August 12.
In addition to the Summer Sunset Series, Tupper Arts will once again host its Little Loggers Kids Shows throughout the summer. The family-oriented programs take place on Friday mornings at the Bandshell, designed with younger audiences in mind.
All Summer Sunset Series events are free and open to the public. If there is potentially rain, performances will take place in the Tupper Lake High School Auditorium.
