The 42nd annual Jazz at the Lake concert series is coming back to Shepard Park in Lake George September 18-20, 2026 with three days of free concerts by jazz musicians at one of the longest standing jazz festivals in the Northeast.

The Lake George Arts Project brings us Jazz at the Lake, an event that has turned into a staple for the summer. It features world class jazz performances and views of Lake George. This festival ranks among the country’s longest running jazz festivals and continues to be free of charge.
This year’s festival is happening after some upgrades to Shepard Park, which included renovations for the amphitheater and stage, accessibility is at the forefront of the festival’s objectives, according to Lake George Arts Project Executive Director Tanya Tobias.

The Saturday schedule will feature the backstage visit of the new amphitheater at 9 am, Coffee and Jazz at 10 am, and live musical shows by Jerome Jennings & iLL Philosophy, Manuel Valera New Cuban Express, Shayna Steele, and Kneebody.
The festival ends on Sunday with performances from Paul Winter Consort, Ekep Nkwelle, and Miguel Zenón Quartet.
Admission is free for all the events.
