Summer Sounds Concert Series Returns to New Rochelle for 2026 Edition

The New Rochelle Council on the Arts is bringing back its Summer Sounds Concert Series on June 24. The free concert series will take place at Hudson Park Band Shell in New Rochelle every Wednesday and Friday at 7:30 pm through August 28, presented by the New Rochelle Council on the Arts in partnership with the City of New Rochelle and the New Rochelle Department of Parks and Recreation.

This year also marks the 19th season of Summer Sounds. The series will feature 20 nights of live music, with genres ranging all the way from pop and classic rock to boot-shaking country, Latin, Motown, funk, soul, jazz, and swing. Food trucks will also be available at each concert, giving attendees a chance to grab food while enjoying the music. 

The season opens with The Counterfeiters on June 24, performing dance and pop music from the 1970s to today. Other artists on the schedule include Drop Dead Dreamers, Willy & The Band, Aquarius, River of Dreams, Grateful BRO, Ashley Wineland, Affiniti, Bronx Charanga, and Sway. The series will close on August 28 with Sway performing classic rock.

Additionally, free yoga is available for those interested, taking place on Wednesdays from 6 pm to 8 pm from June 24 through August 26. The classes will take place before the Wednesday night concerts and are open to all experience levels. 

Moreover, Red Monkey Theater Group will also return to Wildcliff Mansion with Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing on June 20, 21, 27, and 28. The performances begin at 6 pm and will include live music before the show. 

The concert will be at the Hudson Park Band Shell, located at 1 Hudson Park Road in New Rochelle. Admission is free, and parking is free with a Park Pass or $5 without one. For more information about Summer Sounds, visit www.newrochellearts.org/summer-sounds/
