Americade Block Party in Lake George Kicks Off May 29

The Americade Block Party rolls into Lake George on May 29 and 30 with classic rock, motorcycles stunts and summer excitement. The free event will turn the village stage at the top of Shepard Park into a weekend hotspot for live entertainment and Main Street crowds.

Americade Block Party

Across the two days, the Americade Block Party will showcase regional acts featuring classic rock, blues, funk and Southern rock. Upstate Vibe will kick Friday evening with a set of rock staples. Featuring five veteran members of the renowned Southern rock group EB JEB, the band will perform songs by the Eagles, The Guess Who and more.

Saturday’s lineup will then open with Bolton Landing’s Blue Moon Band, a longtime favorite in the Lake George area. Afterwards, The Switch Band will take the stage and shift the music toward blues, funk and jam band influences.

Finally, Whiskey Highway will move the weekend to a close with a country rock set that spans decades. The band recently added a female lead singer, a change that has evidently elevated their sound.

Beyond the Music

Alongside the performances, partygoers can explore Lake George’s motorcycle culture up close with stunt shows, a precision competition riding course and a MotoGP simulator. Between the action, food and beverages will be on available on site.
