Big Shrimp, in coordination with Sage Entertainment and Moe Town, has announced the inaugural Camp Scampi, a three-stage music, food, and arts festival set to take place August 28–29, 2026 at Moe Town Music Venue in Addison, New York.
Blending nationally touring acts with standout regional talent, Camp Scampi is designed as a high-energy weekend experience rooted in jam, EDM, bluegrass, and related genres, part of a large-scale end-of-summer festival experience focused on music, community, and immersive arts programming.

The two-day event will feature a mix of regional favorites and nationally touring acts, including Spafford, Noetika, Space Bacon, and Jimkata, alongside four sets from Big Shrimp themselves.
Camp Scampi positions itself as a return to a more community-driven festival model, emphasizing accessibility, connection, and live music without traditional tiered VIP structures. The event’s guiding ethos, “It’s As Shrimple As That,” reflects its focus on simplicity and shared experience.
The festival will feature three stages across the weekend. Main stage performances are scheduled to run until 2:00 AM each night. A renegade EDM stage will operate throughout the weekend in the campground area, including a late-night Saturday set from Denver-based artist Noetika. A third side stage will showcase regional and emerging talent.

In addition to music programming, Camp Scampi will include food and arts experiences developed in collaboration with the Phish fan community You Enjoy MyFood (YEMF). Founded by Adam Brod, YEMF is known for interactive culinary events and fan-focused programming, including work presented at Phish’s Mondegreen Festival. At Camp Scampi, attendees can expect interactive cooking events, specialty food vendors, participatory experiences, and a You Enjoy MyFood All-Stars set featuring Phish cover performances.
Visual art installations will be curated by Kozmik Sirkus Productions, known for their work on Big Shrimp’s seasonal productions, while Sonic Odyssey Productions will provide sound, lighting, and immersive visual design throughout the festival grounds.
Big Shrimp, formed in 2024 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, is a progressive improvisational rock quartet blending funk, rock, and exploratory jam elements. The band consists of Jared Sage Cowen (guitar/vocals), Max Perrotti (bass/vocals), Daniel Cohen (keys/vocals), and Henry Thomas (drums/vocals). The group has quickly gained national attention and was recently included on Grateful Web’s “Top 12 Upcoming Jam Bands to Watch in 2026.”

Known for their extensive touring schedule and growing fanbase known as “The Prawn Stars,” Big Shrimp has supported acts including Spafford and Eggy and is currently touring nationally on their 30-plus date “It’s As Shrimple As That Tour.” Their most recent live release, The Prawno Tapes, Vol. 3, documents highlights from their breakout year, while anticipation continues to build for their upcoming debut studio album, following the release of their single “Alcaworkholic.”
