The second night of the Kaytranada × Justice tour at the Barclays Center felt like an electro-celebration of both rhythm and light. The arena doors opened at 7 p.m. and, by the time the house lights dropped, the packed floor and bowl were humming with anticipation. The venue’s announcement described the show as part of the “KAYTRANADA x JUSTICE Tour” with support from French native Busy P.

When Kaytranada stepped up, he did so from a central setup, surrounded by an array of turntables and controllers, moving fluidly between his own tracks and creative edits of other artists’ work. His set pulled from his latest album era and other beloved songs, the energy was unmistakably his warm bass, chopped-up vocal hooks, vintage funk and disco inflections layered into dance-floor moments.

Standout moment: about midway through, Kaytranada dropped a slowed-down rework of his anthem “10%” followed by a deep dive into “GLOWED UP”-style groove. The floor erupted. His final minutes segued into a rising loop that throbbed until the lights cut just before transitioning to Justice.

Following a quick stage reset, Justice emerged: Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay framed by their towering “×” logo and an arsenal of lights and lasers. From the very first beat, the vibe shifted: the arena felt smaller, tighter, more intense. The duo moved through a frantic, high-paced sequence of their biggest hits and newer material, lacing distorted synth lines with pounding four-on-the-floor drums and unmistakeable rock-in-the-club energy.

Night 2 of the Justice x Kaytranada tour hit many of the right notes. For Kaytranada fans, it was a chance to see him play big and confidently; despite the sound hiccups, he held the room. For Justice fans and for the second half of the evening the payoff was boldly delivered: maximalist visuals, major sonic impact, and an electric crowd.
