Shepard Park, Fridays at the Lake

Shepard Park, where the event takes place, is conveniently located in the heart of Lake George Village. This public space is a hub for community events all year long, and filled with local traditions. The park was envisioned by Edward Morse Shepard, who purchased the land for public use back in 1910. By September 1917, an outdoor stage was added, and two Grecian columns were built on either side. Shepard park has undergone many renovations since its founding, and continues to be a place that people visit from all over.

So if you’re looking for a night of dancing and energetic music, bring a blanket or lawn chair, enjoy the food, and stay for a beautiful view of Lake George.
