Music is Art 2025 Returns to Celebrate Connection and Creativity

The Music is Art festival returns this fall for an epic celebration of connection, creativity and musical community.

Founded by Goo Goo Dolls bassist and Buffalo native Robby Takac, Music is Art has showcased the unifying power of music in Western New York since its founding in 2003.

Music is Art

This year’s festival kicks off on September 20, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., at Terminal B in Buffalo’s Outer Harbor; promising 12 hours of free festival and musical fun for all visitors.

Some of the biggest attractions are over 200 acts across 20 stages, including DJs, dancers and live performances from a variety of artists. Diverse forms of art are celebrated through art installations, video art and performance art. The Music is Art festival also offers local food and drink vendors, interactive exhibits, community spaces and even more free activities for visitors.

Visitors can purchase VIP tickets to further enhance their festival experience with privileges including exclusive VIP tent access and special performances. VIP tickets are available for purchase here.

More details on this year’s events, including the full schedule and event map, are set to be released later this summer.
