Looking for an event with music, art, film, and skateboarding all in one place? Then come check out the PAC-MOCA Skate Festival in Patchogue on Long Island.

Taking place June 29, from 11:00AM to 4:00PM, The festival offers all free events except for one ticketed film screening and panel discussion. At 11:00AM, the festival will begin with the documentary screening of “Across America”, a film following a man’s journey across the country via skateboard. Following this event is a Panel with pro skater Chad Caruso and director of the documentary John Testa.
The free events include skateboarding demonstrations and competitions throughout the day, performances by local Long Island alternative bands, interactive art workshops and crafts, live painters, and local vendors showcasing handmade goods. The whole community of Long Island comes together for this festival; including The Village of Patchogue, Patchogue Medford Library, New York State Council of The Arts, and the Long Island Advance. The Organizers, Ballpark Figure Booking and Patchogue Arts Council offer this event at The Plaza Cinema & Media Arts Center, a place of creativity and modern art.
