JazzBuffalo has announced the return of its Jazz at Richardson series for summer 2025, bringing four free outdoor jazz concerts to the historic Richardson‑Olmsted Campus in Buffalo, NY. Kicking off on Sunday, June 29, and running through Sunday, August 31, the series offers the community a chance to enjoy live music in a family-friendly, open-air setting.
Each concert will take place on Sunday afternoons, inviting audiences to relax on the lawn with lawn chairs and picnic blankets. The season begins with the Croft, Wasik, Docenko Trio performing the music of Vince Guaraldi, a nostalgic tribute to the melodies made famous by Charlie Brown and the Peanuts. On July 13, the Wendell Rivera Latin Jazz Ensemble brings a lively energy with its signature blend of horns and percussion. August 10 features Brass Machine, a Buffalo favorite known for their New Orleans-style brass band flair. The series concludes with the 4th Annual Buffalo Jazz Festival on August 31, an all-day event that celebrates local and regional jazz talent.
Taking place in Buffalo, this concert series not only showcases Western New York’s rich jazz culture but also highlights the city’s commitment to community engagement through music.
