GlassFest 2025: A Sparkling Celebration in the Heart of Corning

GlassFest 2025 is set to illuminate downtown Corning from Friday, May 23, through Sunday, May 25. Hosting organization, Corning’s Gaffer District, expresses gratitude to sponsors for their vital support.

GlassFest

GlassFest kicks off with the Glass Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, glassmaking demonstrations, and live musical entertainment. The event also includes Finger Lakes Wine & Craft Beer Tasting throughout Corning’s Gaffer District, open to everyone 21 or older, Rock the Park concerts, food vendors, live glassblowing demos, and more. GlassFest is full of family activities and finishes with spectacular fireworks.

Vertical Horizon

Friday, May 23

Legendary Alternative Rock Band Vertical Horizon will perform as a Friday night headliner on the Rock the Park stage. With hits spanning decades, they’ve been jamming since the ’90s and are set to deliver an unforgettable live performance.

Events for Friday include On-Street Vending on Market Street, Glass Blowing Demos at the Corning Museum of Glass Stage, Glass Ribbon Cutting at Centerway Square, National Poppy Day Ceremony at Centerway Square, Yoga in the Park with Crystal Heart Yoga at Riverfront Centennial Park, and Mountain Rose Farm Pony Rides at Krouge Park.

Tony Jackson

Saturday, May 24

Country star Tony Jackson takes the Riverfront Centennial Park Stage on Saturday. With a voice that transports you straight to the golden era of country music, Tony Jackson has taken the country scene by storm. His smooth, soulful vocals and heartfelt storytelling have earned him millions of fans worldwide.

Events for Saturday consist of a Wineglass 8K Race starting at Corning-Painted Post High School, On-Street Vending on Market Street, Yoga in the Park with Crystal Heart Yoga at Riverfront Centennial Park, Glass Blowing Demos at Corning Museum of Glass Stage, Unveiling of Glass Fascinator at Centerway Stage, Live Music at Marich Music Stage, YMCA Kids’ Zone at Krouge Park, Public Art Tours with Meghan at Centennial Sculpture, Painted Love Face Painting with Jennifer Sekella, Collin Ward Magic Show in front of Val Reep Fountain, Rock the Park Concert by Simmons-Rockwell at Riverfront Centennial Park, and Fireworks Finale over the Chemung River.

Sunday, May 25

Concluding the festival, events for Sunday comprise of On-Street Vending on Market Street, Glass Blowing Demos at Corning Museum of Glass Stage, YMCA Kids’ Zone at Krouge Park, Public Art Tour with Meghan at centennial Sculpture, Collin Ward Magic Show in front of Val Reep Fountain, Yoga in the Park with Crystal Heart Yoga at Riverfront Centennial Park, Jessica Black Aerial Show in Riverfront centennial Park, Memorial Day Salute in Riverfront Centennial Park, and Mystical Breeze Balloons – Hot Air Balloon Rides- at Riverfront Centennial Park.

GlassFest

Free shuttles are offered between The Corning Museum of Glass and Corning’s Historic Market Street, and you can try your hand at glassmaking at The Studio at The Corning Museum of Glass. Make Your Own Glass Vase, a special glassmaking project that’s only available during GlassFest Weekend. Spots fill quickly, and booking your experience online before your visit is recommended.
