New York’s glam-punk band Bad Mary has announced the release of their live album, Live on Long Island, this July, with the band’s first single, “Marz Attaqx,” available to stream on April 15.

“We love a live album and have wanted to make one for a while,” bassist Mike Staub said. “It’s great to hear these songs performed, as intended, live with a loud audience. We think you’ll get the full Bad Mary experience here if you’ve never seen us live and if you have, we can all relive this experience together.”
The new single cycles back to the band’s 2016 EP, We Could Have Saved the World, Staub said. The single gives a nod and appreciation for Sci-Fi and dystopian sounds, to which Staub says is “still timely.”
Bad Mary has received praise and accolades from SiriuxXM’s Underground Garage, including New Music Spotlight features and multiple Coolest Song in the World recognitions. Most recently, the band collaborated with Long Island band Mega Infinity for a split single, “Mega Bad Disaster Party,” available now on all streaming platforms and as a limited edition vinyl. The band, consisting of Amanda Mac (vocals), David Henderson (guitar), Mike Staub (bass/vocals) and Bill Mac (drums), also hosts their podcast, “Are You With The Band,” available on all streaming platforms.
