Safe & Soundz Festival 2025 Shepheard Productions

Born out of a shared dream to build something real, Safe and SoundZ has grown from a modest backyard gathering into a full-fledged festival with top-tier production and an audience that keeps coming back. At its core, this isn’t just another festival — it’s a launchpad for local talent, a networking hub for new businesses, and a place where ideas take root and grow.

Based in Worcester, MA, Shepheard Productions over the past 7 years has produced over 1,000 shows and other festivals like Circus of Life, Carniroll and Grass is Greener. They’ve spent years building spaces for artists to thrive — and Safe and SoundZ embodies the kind of grassroots, artist-first energy thats curated for the people. This isn’t just a festival, it’s a platform. A springboard. A place where people meet, create, and grow.

Safe & Soundz Festival

This year, Safe and Soundz is partnering with Sugar Productions, a cornerstone of Albany’s music scene. Known for their work with local venues like Ophelia’s and Nanola, Sugar brings deep roots and fresh energy to the table. Their involvement is helping elevate the experience while keeping it true to its local soul. The festival also works closely with local colleges to offer internships, giving students hands-on experience in event production, marketing, and media.

Beyond the music, Safe and SoundZ features a range of workshops (from movement to mindfulness), curated art installations, and outdoor adventures with clowns and magicians. The event draws a tight-knit, cross-generational crowd, with most attendees between 25 and 50 — music lovers, artists, entrepreneurs, and experience seekers who care about the spaces they inhabit.
