Mumford & Sons Releases RUSHMERE, Announces North American Tour

Rock band Mumford & Sons’ new album, RUSHMERE, joins their freshly announced North American tour, with three performances in New York throughout the summer and fall.

The band, who met in Rushmere in Wimbledon, released RUSHMERE, beginning the group’s next creative phase following an intense period of creativity. In collaboration with nine-time GRAMMY-winning producer Dave Cobb, the album speaks on new experiences with a unique sound, reminiscent of their old yet teasing the future of the trio’s new sound.

The band is set to perform at Saratoga Springs (June 21), Forest Hills (Aug. 8) and Buffalo (Oct. 16), with support from Gigi Perez, Lucuis and Michael Kiwanuka, respectively. Other supporting acts throughout the tour include Divorce, Good Neighbors, Japanese Breakfast, Madison Cunningham, Gregory Alan Isakov, Margo Price and Sierra Ferrell. The band has partnered with PLUS1 to support War Child, an organization based in the U.K. The band states that $1 from every ticket sold will help War Child to protect, educate and stand up for the rights of children affected by war.
