New York band The Thing has announced their North American and European headlining tour, including a performance on March 17 at Sony Hall in New York City.

The tour will begin at SXSW in Austin, Texas, traveling throughout the nation, and begin their European leg in May. While on tour, The Thing will release their self-titled, third full-length album, featuring singles “Dave’s TV” and “Above Snakes.” The band released their 2024 album, The Thing Is, featuring eleven tracks performed at over 100 live shows. Past festival performances include Treefort, Boston Calling, Governors Ball, Summerfest and Hopscotch.
The Thing is a four-piece band based in New York City. Consisting of Lucas Ebeling (drums), Jack Bradley (guitar, vocals), Michael Carter (guitar, vocals) and Zane Acord (bass and vocals), the group gathers influences from The Kinks and Cream and blends their influences with their unique sound.
