Live Nation has discontinued the Lawnie Pass program at Saratoga Performing Arts Center and other Live Nation concert venues for the upcoming concert season.

The entertainment giant’s “concerts all summer long” program allowed fans to purchase a pass with a flat fee to its participating venues across the country, including the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Charlotte’s PNC Music Pavilion, the Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville, and Hartford’s XFINITY Theatre.
“While there will not be a Lawnie Pass program in 2025, previous Lawnies will be the first to hear about these new offerings.”
– Live Nation
This decision follows Live Nation’s updated ground rules for attending concerts. In November 2024, Live Nation decided concertgoers would no longer be allowed to bring outside chairs into venues for Live Nation-produced events. Instead, lawn chairs will be available for rent inside the venue and can be made when buying concert ticket upgrades.
Many former Lawnie Pass program members are upset because they say they missed out on ticket sales for summer concerts because they were expecting the Lawnie Pass program to continue this year.
Although the law passes for Live Nation have been discontinued, the SPAC classical season lawn passes, which provide admission to every Philadelphia Orchestra and New York City Ballet performance, will continue. Guests can also bring in their own lawn chairs for classical performances and SPAC-produced shows.
