moe.’s January 17th concert at Bearsville Theater in Woodstock was a wild ride, blending the intimate charm of the venue with an electric, personal connection between the band and fans. It wasn’t just a show—it was an album release party (Circle of Giants, available January 31st) wrapped in the playful exploration of sound.

“Bearsong” served as the perfect first set opener. The energy hummed, and bodies loosened up in a collective dance as the night unfolded.
moe.rons, the band’s loyal following, are true connoisseurs of the setlist, knowing that every show is a different experience.

This night was no exception, with old favorites like “32 Things,” “Wormwood,” and “Timmy Tucker” making their mark.
The new tracks from the forthcoming Circle of Giants—”Yellow Tigers,” “Band in the Sky,” and “Bat Country”—brought bold, exploratory flavors to the evening. “Yellow Tigers,” a Ghosts of Jupiter cover, buzzed with a heavy pulse, while “Band in the Sky” floated in spacious, ethereal realms, drenched in that signature jam band magic.

Throughout the performance, the crowd was swept up in a euphoric tug-of-war between the familiar, the new, and the unknown. The band’s chemistry was nearly telepathic, often uncovering deep pockets of groove that even surprised them.

As always, it was in the jams where moe. truly let loose, turning each song into a living, breathing entity. Every riff felt like an invitation, with smooth transitions and mind-bending improvisation.

The night wrapped up with the perfect closing, “All Roads Lead to Home,” as if moe. had left a piece of themselves in every fan’s heart. Bearsville Theater proved to be the ideal venue for such a musically spiritual experience—a place where you wish the music did not stop.
