Mohawk Place first opened its doors in the early 1990s by then owner Pete Perrone, who was loved by all. Starting as a blues and majorly rock venue, the venue has now encompassed many genres and visitors all around the world. Mohawk Place stands as a reminder of Buffalo’s pre-Internet age era, creating a space for visitors to reminisce on the past.

Throughout the years, Mohawk Place has become a staple venue in Buffalo for all music-lovers nationwide. Many visitors recall their fondest memories of listening to their favorite bands, such as Four Year Strong, Fallout Boy, Cursive, Centro-Matic, Sam Roberts Band and many more. Though bittersweet, the closure of the iconic venue brings hopeful new music opportunities for the city.

With Mohawk Place closing, shows scheduled for February at the famous venue are now moved to a new location. All upcoming shows for the month of January will continue, along with two farewell shows scheduled for the end of the month. For more information, visit here.
