GRAMMY® Award-winning vocalist, songwriter, guitar legend, producer, and Gov’t Mule frontman Warren Haynes announced new 2027 spring tour dates for his Dreams and Songs Symphonic Experience. This unique live show, which has a planned stop in Buffalo, will feature orchestrally reimagined arrangements of Haynes’ incredible catalog across both his group and solo careers.
All shows on this tour will be conducted by Rich Daniels of Chicago’s City Lights Orchestra. Daniels will lead Haynes and his all-star band alongside each city’s respective symphony orchestra. The show will pull from Haynes’ time in Gov’t Mule, Allman Brothers Band, and The Dead, as well as his solo albums.
The tour announcement comes just weeks after the release of his latest live album Dreams & Songs: A Symphonic Journey. Recorded over two nights at the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium in Haynes’ hometown of Asheville, NC, the album showcases the invigorating collaboration between seasoned rock improvisers such as Oteil Burbridge and John Medeski and the 64-piece Asheville Symphony Orchestra. Since its seminal debut in Asheville, the Dreams & Songs Symphonic Experience has played venues across the country and evolved into something Haynes’ could never have imagined.
Before Haynes takes the symphonic show back on the road, he will play a handful of shows in December to close out another incredible year. These shows will feature a diverse range of guest stars including Greta Van Fleet and Haynes’ former Allman Brothers Band bandmates Jaimoe and Marc Quiñones.
Warren Haynes is considered one of the most formidable guitarists and vocalists of the modern era as well as a prolific songwriter and producer. He seamlessly blends genres and produces passionate solos that are uniquely his. In addition to his successful solo career, Haynes has been a member of three of the greatest live rock groups in history: Allman Brothers Band, Gov’t Mule, and the Dead. Haynes is a beacon of creativity and musical excellence, and is a source of inspiration for musicians and fans alike. Outside of music, he has raised nearly $3M for Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity, constructing over 50 homes, and helps the region’s housing needs through newer partner BeLoved Asheville.
