This Memorial Day weekend, May 23rd-25th, the Boston Calling Music Festival brings a dynamic lineup of artists featuring Luke Combs, Fallout Boy, and Dave Matthews Band to Allston, MA.
Boston Calling Music Festival is a nationally acclaimed three-day long festival featuring artists from all genres for all ages. The lineup includes many familiar faces and fan favorites such as TLC and Avril Lavigne, but also plenty of new breakout stars like Remi Wolf and Thee Sacred Souls. Headlining the first day is country star Luke Combs, followed by the beloved alt-rock band Fallout Boy on the second day, and the festival closes with the 2024 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Dave Matthews Band.
The festival includes a stacked lineup of iconic bands, but it also highlights many small and up-and-coming artists. The festival especially focuses on showcasing New England’s dynamic music scene. Some exciting new talent from the area to look for includes Bebe Stockwell, Latrell James, Simon Robert French, and Nate Perry & Ragged Company. These artists will be featured on the orange stage, which is devoted exclusively to regional acts.
This year, the festival is also introducing layout improvements aimed at amplifying the festival experience. The two main stages, the red and green stages, will merge into one epic rotating stage with state-of-the-art sound and video for an immersive experience. Redesigned stage areas will improve crowd flow and ease congestion, making it easier for attendees to move between performances.
GA tickets go on sale January 8th at 10 am, and the festival also offers its GA+/ VIP experience. This unlocks unlimited access to the festival’s Reserve Lounge, which includes multiple bars featuring craft cocktails and an extensive beer and wine list, as well as access to exclusive viewing areas around the festival. The festival’s location is easily accessible from Boston Proper with just a quick ride on the T on the Red Line’s Harvard Square stop.
