Gen-X Tour Features Buckcherry, P.O.D., Lit and Alien Ant Farm

Stops scheduled in Farmingville and Watertown.

Heavy metal and hard rock news source, Loudwire, has announced its inaugural “Gen-X Summer” tour featuring Buckcherry, P.O.D., Lit, and Alien Ant Farm.

Gen-X will cover over 30 cities across the U.S. starting in Milwaukee on June 28, and making two stops in New York, July 26, at the Amphitheater at Bald Hill in Farmingville and July 30, at Exhibition Hall in Watertown.

Formed in 1995 in Anaheim, Buckcherry has released seven studio albums and an EP. The band’s third album, 15, is certified platinum by the RIAA. Several classics have come from the album, including crossover hit “Crazy Bitch,” “Next 2 You,” and Billboard Top 10 hit “Sorry.”

San Diego Christian rockers P.O.D., will appear on the run in most cities. Formed in 1992, the band has sold over 12 million albums worldwide. Their third studio album, The Fundamental Elements of Southtown, earned the band a double platinum certification, and the even more successful follow up, Satellite, is certified triple platinum by the RIAA.

Frontman Sonny Sandoval stated about the tour, “This is the good vibes, Rock & Roll tour of the summer. A bunch of friends hitting the road together and playing music we love for more friends across the states.”
