Evanescence, Lindsey Stirling Team Up for Summer Tour

Multi-platinum recording artist, Evanescence, will return to the road this summer, continuing their “Synthesis” tour.

The tour will support the band’s fourth studio album Synthesis and display the band in a different setting across 31-cities in North America. Evanescence will feature a full orchestral backing and new arrangements.

Violinist Lindsey Stirling, will co-headline, and open shows during the tour with a sensory experience only she can deliver. After appearing on Synthesis album on the track “Hi-Lo,” fans can expect to two artists to perform the song live and collaborate on a few others. The Synthesis album is made up of reworked versions of the band’s songs with a classical, electronic feel. Two new tracks were offered on the album. One of those songs “Imperfection,” was released to radio.

Evanescence formed in 1995. The band’s debut album, Fallen, is certified seven times platinum by the RIAA. In 2004, the band took home a pair of Grammy awards for Best New Artist, and Best Hard Rock Performance, for the song “Bring Me To Life.”

“Synthesis,” will make two stops in New York including July 28 at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga, and Aug. 11 at Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theatre in Wantagh. Tickets are on sale now.
