New Phish Album Announced

Earlier today, Phish mysteriously tweeted a picture of clouds. Tonight we have learned what the tease was all about.

Fresh off the summer tour closer at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Colorado, the band has announced the release of its first album since 2014’s Feugo.

The new album, titled Big Boat, will be released on Oct. 7. A teaser for the music was posted to the Phish Twitter account earlier tonight:

Vermont’s favorite sons embark on their fall tour shortly following the release, starting in North Charleston, SC.  The cover art for the new album reveals the clouds tweeted earlier in the day and is reminiscent of classic Pink Floyd cover art.
