Electro jam band Lotus announced this week the addition of six dates for its upcoming winter tour that kicks off Jan. 29 at Philadelphia’s Electric Factory and includes one stop in Central New York.
On Saturday, Jan. 30, Lotus will perform at the F Shed at the Market in Syracuse before making its way to other Northeast shows in New Haven, Portland, Higher Ground in Burlington and Providence. Presale tickets are available now; the public ticket sale date has yet to be released.
Most recently, the Philly-based group—Mike Greenfield (drums), Jesse Miller (bass, sampler), Luke Miller (guitar, keys), Chuck Morris (percussion) and Mike Rempel (guitar)—performed two nights in Chicago during Thanksgiving and will play in Pittsburgh for two New Year’s Eve shows.
Lotus is still touring in support of the 2014 album Gilded Age, which brought the band’s previous tours to Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse, and released a remastered studio and live cut version of 2004’s Nomad last December. The group made its latest appearances in New York this summer at Great South Bay Music Festival and Catskill Chill Music Festival.
During this 2016 winter run, Lotus will also leave crowds dazed and confused during Jam Cruise 14, in Boston and New York City and the Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival in Florida early March. Still not satisfied? Let the band know what venues to hit up next using the hashtag #Lotus2016Tour.
