Hamell On Trial Starts Happy Hour Residency at the Low Beat

Hamell On Trial will take up residency at the Low Beat every Wednesday throughout December, with the exception of Dec. 9.

Edward James “Ed” Hamell, performing as Hamell on Trial, is an American punk rock, anti-folk, spoken word musician, described by Righteous Babe Records as “loud, fast music informed by politics, passion, energy and intelligence, played by a guy with a sharp tongue and a wicked sense of humor”.

Attendees should expect sharp-witted comedy in song and banter from the one-man punk band. The shows will be held Dec. 2, 16, 23 and 30. All shows start at 7 p.m. with doors at 6 p.m. There will be a $10 cover for these shows.

Hamell On Trial will be on tour supporting Ani DiFranco in January.
