New York City and Ithaca fans will get to see the tour roll through town as the only two New York stops on the circuit.

The tour started on July 15 in Charlottesville, Virginia, and will come to rest in New York City at Drom on Saturday, Sept. 26. Special Guest Cold River City will appear with the band at Drom.

Ithaca will see the tour stop at The Haunt on Thursday, Aug. 20. This date will also serve as the pre-party for Phish’s Magnaball festival to be held Aug. 21-23 at the Watkins Glen International race track in Watkins Glen, in the Finger Lakes region.

The Jauntee plays over a hundred shows a year, and has quickly made a name for themselves in the jam band genre. The band plays a wide variety of styles of music including bluegrass, jazz, rock, funk, progressive, ambient and psychedelic.

The Jauntee’s shows are unique. Music exploration, live improvisation and an ever-changing set list make every live show a one of a kind must see event.

The jam band from Boston is set to release a new album titled Excelsior sometime by the end of the summer.
