Denver, Colorado: get ready to pop the champagne this New Year’s with Umphrey’s McGee. The band will ring in their annual New Year’s Eve run tradition at The Fillmore Auditorium. The four-day event will start on Dec. 30 and end Jan. 2.
In the upcoming weeks, Umphrey’s will announce a one-of-a-kind event to take place on Jan. 1. Stay tuned to the band’s Facebook and Twitter sites for the upcoming details and for tickets for this special event.
Last year’s event, held in Atlanta, saw the band countdown with the crowd until the midnight hour, when balloons and confetti dropped from the ceiling as the band played the traditional first song of the New Year, “Auld Lang Syne.”
Umphrey’s McGee plays around a hundred shows or more a year, and the band even play multiple sets at some of these gigs. They also display one of the most spectacular vibrant visual intelligent lighting shows you will ever see.
