Heavy metal icons Metallica have announced an extension to their M72 World Tour, with the new leg of shows – May 8 to June 19, 2027 – including a June 8 performance at Highmark Stadium in Buffalo.
Metallica’s M72 World Tour has already been a massive and successful journey. Since the tour began in April 2023, it has reached almost 5 million attendees across 99 shows and 26 countries. The 2027 North American leg of the tour will feature support acts Limp Bizkit and Avatar.
A portion of the proceeds from each ticket will support local charities through Metallica’s All Within My Hands foundation. Founded by the band’s members and management, this nonprofit organization supports workforce education, hunger relief, disaster relief, and other community services.
Tickets for Metallica’s 2027 North American shows including the Highmark Stadium show will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Sept. 25. For more information, see Metallica’s website.
