Five local bands are performing at Rockij’ for Ronald in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities and Krantz Cottage in Lake George on Friday, July 31 and Saturday August 1.
Super 400, a rock trio from Troy that has toured across the United States and Europe during their 25-year-long career, will perform on Friday. This act is followed by The Refrigerators, one of the popular party bands from the Capital Region.
Jonathan Newell Family Band will headline Saturday morning, comprised of Jonathan Newell and his family members including Jennifer Newell (wife), Brandon Newell (son), and Evan Newell (son). Jukebox Rebellion will take the stage next performing after being crowned the #1 party band of Upstate New York in 2025. They have played at Library of Congress as part of America 250 celebrations. Ending off is The Accents, a nine member band which has been performing in the area for the last 50 years. With over 4,000 live shows done, their musical range includes soul, R&B, and rock.

The Krantz Cottage is one of the Ronald McDonald Family Retreats which offers an accommodation facility to families suffering from serious childhood illnesses for up to five days. Rockin’ for Ronald McDonald House Charities Benefit will be held in Shepard Park located in Canada Street, Lake George. The entrance to the event is free and you can purchase some food and beverages while there.
