Residents of Whiteface, rejoice. The Wilmington Mountain Music Fest returns to the region for its fifth year. On July 25, Wilmington Ball Park will host the music festival, bringing live music, food, and community all together.
Classic rock jams are all over this year’s lineup. Toys in the Attic is an Aerosmith tribute band, bringing them to life right in the park. Jamie Lee Thurston specializes in fusing country with rock and high-energy performances. Double Axel, based in the North Country, is celebrating their 50th anniversary with 1970s rock. They will be followed by Adrenaline Overdrive, performing classic 1980s hits.
Aside from the live music, the festival will have family-friendly activities, such as face painting and hula hoops for children. This will be provided by Vestopia Hoops, who specialize in live entertainment with circus style activities. Food vendors include Two Jerks BBQ, Lomeli’s Mexican Food, ADK Mobile Bars, and more.
Christina Ortiz is the Director of the Whiteface Visitors Bureau and has expressed appreciation for the festival. In its short time, it has grown to bring a dedicated community together for a good time.

The music festival kicks off at 3pm and carries on into the afternoon. Attendees can bring chairs, blankets, umbrellas, and any other necessary items for the outdoor venue. Certain areas of the park will allow for smoking throughout the festival.
Tickets can be purchased in advance here or can be purchased the day of. Children under 10 years of age are free.
