Goose wrapped up the final night of their three-show Manhattan run in grand fashion at Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage. A last minute show announcement, following their two-night return to Madison Square Garden, the Connecticut quartet proved once again they can sell out venues wherever and whenever they choose.

And the weather alone made it a scorcher of a show. The summer heat had fans sweating from the start, but Goose matched the intensity with a stellar performance of their own. A beautiful rendered “This Old Sea” opened the first set, while a super funky “Dustin Hoffman” and crowd-favorite “Yeti” kept the energy high throughout.

As temperatures cooled during the second set, the band showed no signs of slowing down. Highlights included a a passionate take on Nina Simone’s ‘Sinnerman‘, a deeply explorative version of “Madhuvan”, and an encore performance of fan favorite “Give It Time”. With the ‘BIG MODERN!‘ tour continuing through summer and into early fall, Goose appears to be firing on all cylinders.
