Chicago rock veterans Wilco have announced a new run of U.S. tour dates for summer 2026, including three performances across New York this June as part of their ongoing “An Evening With Wilco” tour.
Most dates on the tour will feature the band performing two full sets with an intermission, giving fans an extended evening that spans their expansive catalog. The New York run will take the band from Western New York to Central New York before concluding with a major New York City performance.
Formed in Chicago in 1994, Wilco emerged from the breakup of the pioneering alt-country band Uncle Tupelo. Led by singer-songwriter Jeff Tweedy, the group has grown into one of the most respected acts in modern alternative rock, blending folk, country, experimental rock, and power pop over a career spanning more than three decades.
Wilco has released more than a dozen studio albums, including landmark releases such as Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, A Ghost Is Born, and Sky Blue Sky. A Ghost Is Born earned the band a Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album, helping cement Wilco’s reputation as one of the most influential American rock bands of the past few decades.
The tour continues a busy stretch for the band following the release of their 2023 album Cousin and 2024 EP Hot Sun Cool Shroud. Later in June, the band will also host the return of their own curated festival, Solid Sound Festival, taking place June 26–28 at MASS MoCA in North Adams, Massachusetts.
