A Look at The Local’s Bold Winter/Spring 2026 Live Music Lineup

As Hudson Valley gears up for the upcoming months, The Local sets the tone for the season by delivering diverse music performances to the region.

Defined by it’s intentional focus on globally influenced music, The Local anchored itself in programming that not only celebrates cross-cultural collaboration but secured captivating, critically acclaimed artists for its Saugerties stage. The venue welcomes nearly 30 events between February and June, ranging from Canadian Indigenous Inuk artist Elisapi to former David Bowie guitarist Gerry Leonard.

Additionally, the venue’s booking approach is best articulated by co-founder Danny Melnick as he explains, “When Isabel and I set out to program each season, we consider the successful events we’ve had, while pushing boundaries to book extraordinary artists who we believe open-minded music lovers will be thrilled to discover.” In practice, this philosophy underscores the energy driving the venue this year, encouraging engagement not just with music rooted in varied cultural traditions, but with the spirit of openness that lies at the heart of The Local’s identity. The fluidity of genre from Indigenous Inuk, Pop, Korean Mask Dance fused with folk-rock, Colombian cumbia, Ukrainian folk rituals, Moroccan to Gnawa blues invites audience members to enter a space built with care for the collective interests of the community.
