From December 12–14, Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) has announced the return of the “Sounds of the Season” holiday series. The awaited return will feature acclaimed Irish ensemble Danú, rising jazz star Stella Cole, and the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center performing Bach’s Complete Brandenburg Concertos.
On the first night of “Sounds of the Season,” Danú will be performing the “An Emerald Isle Christmas” program following their sold-out “Sounds of the Season” 2022 appearance. Hailing from historic County Waterford, Danú brings to life a dynamic blend of traditional Irish tunes and original compositions.

For more than two decades, the group’s world-class musicians have toured internationally, performing on flute, tin whistle, fiddle, button accordion, bouzouki, and vocals in both Gaelic and English. Joined by acclaimed singer Nell Ní Chróinín and spirited Irish step-dancers, Danú will infuse the festive season with the rich musical traditions of Ireland.
On December 13, the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center will perform Johann Sebastian Bach’s six Brandenburg Concertos.
On the last day of the holiday series, promising jazz star Stella Cole will feature performances of her upcoming single “Merry Christmas, Darling” and an interpretation of beloved selections from her EP Snow!, accompanied by a duet with Tony Award-winner and Glee TV star Darren Criss.

With over 1.7 million social media followers, Cole has been described as a Laufey-meets-Bublé sensation through her covers of iconic artists, including Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, and Nat “King” Cole. As her SPAC performances approach, Cole will bring a fresh interpretation of classic repertoire to a new generation.
SPAC’s “Sounds of the Season” will be held at the Arthur Zankel Music Center at Skidmore College. Tickets will be available to SPAC members today, while the general public will have access to tickets starting October 20.
