Buffalo-based jazz guitarist Adam Bronstein and band ABtrio has announced a spring tour, including performances in Ithaca and Buffalo during March and May.

Abtrio features Bronstein, bassist James Benders and drummer Marco “The Italian Drummer” Cirigliano. Together, their sound reflects the forward movement in modern jazz and its deep roots. On their seventh tour, the band has announced 15 dates, including two countries and six states. In addition to the tour, ABtrio will perform at Buffalo’s Black Dots and Aircraft in the spring.

Bronstein is best known for his unique songwriting and witty improvisations. With a focus on guitar, Bronstein’s sound is influenced through fusion, soul-jazz and psychedelia, reminiscent of musicians like John Scofield, Pat Metheny and Julian Lage. His most recent studio album, Jazz ≠ Jazz (Aug. 2024), explores familiar rhythms of traditional jazz with Bronstein’s clever jazz pathway and sound, creating a musical album of solid, soothing jazz and playful pieces.
