New York-based dark pop artist MH has released his latest single “False Alarm.” The emotionally-charged track details the heartbreak of returning to relationships that are only filled with empty promises.
With “False Alarm,” MH continues sharing a vulnerable side of himself. The disillusionment between promise and reality in his relationship resulted in a harmful cycle that left him wondering why he stayed. Describing his experience, MH says “I kept going back because I believed the promise more than I believed the warning signs.”
MH’s music acts not only as an outlet, but also as an intersection of identity. As a gay man born and raised in Puerto Rico, MH creatively fuses each aspect of his identity to make music that resonates with a larger audience. Before growing into his atmospheric pop identity, MH grew up with Latin influences as well as experience with church, choir, and theater music.
