311 and Dirty Heads brought their co-headlining So Glad You Made It Tour to Northwell at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh on July 16, delivering a night that blended reggae, rock, alternative and hip-hop. ROME opened the show, followed by Australian band Ocean Alley, setting the stage for the night’s two co-headliners.

ROME kicked off the evening as fans continued to make their way into the waterfront venue. His set fit naturally with the night’s reggae-rock atmosphere and included a performance of Sublime’s “Badfish.”

Ocean Alley followed, bringing their psychedelic and alternative sound from Australia to Jones Beach. Their nine-song performance included tracks like “Tangerine,” “Knees,” “Drenched” and fan favorite “Confidence.”

Dirty Heads took the stage next, opening with “Seven Seas” before moving through a mix of newer material and longtime favorites. Their set showcased the Southern California sound that has made them a staple of the reggae-rock scene, with songs including “Lay Me Down,” “My Sweet Summer” and “Vacation.” ROME returned to the stage to join the band for “Lay Me Down.”

311 closed out the night with a career-spanning performance that opened with “Beautiful Disaster” and quickly moved into fan favorites “All Mixed Up” and “Sunset in July.” The set also featured the band’s cover of The Cure’s “Lovesong” and their signature “Applied Science” drum showcase.

After more than three decades together, 311 continues to bring the same energy that has built them a dedicated following across generations. At Jones Beach, the band capped off the four-act bill with one of their biggest songs, “Down,” bringing the night to a fitting close.
