Waterhole Music Lounge Presents: Party on the Patio 2026 in Saranac Lake

The Waterhole Music Lounge is set to bring the rhythm of summer back to the Adirondacks with the return of its beloved outdoor concert series, Party on the Patio 2026. Kicking off on April 23 and running every Thursday evening through October 22, the series promises another season of vibrant live music, community connection, and unforgettable nights under the open sky.

Party on the Patio

Held weekly from 6–10 p.m. at the Waterhole’s Main Street location, Party on the Patio has become a signature staple of Saranac Lake’s cultural scene. This year’s series features an ambitious slate of 27 concerts, showcasing a wide spectrum of touring talent across genres — from country western and bluegrass to indie soul, reggae, Afrobeat, Latin dance music, and more.

The 2026 lineup continues the tradition of blending returning favorites with fresh faces making their debut on the patio stage. Among the early highlights:

Ithaca’s Cast Iron Cowboys bring a rich mix of Appalachian bluegrass, vintage blues, and layered harmonies. Philadelphia-based Hoots & Hellmouth channel a roots-rock energy infused with folk and soul influences, delivering what they describe as “new music for old souls.” Tulsa native Johnny Mullenax, who began playing guitar at just five years old, offers a distinctive blend of rock and roll grit with funky country bluegrass.

From Denver, progressive bluegrass quartet Magoo is known for intricate arrangements and high-energy improvisation, while Syracuse’s Mike Powell & the Echosound fuse Americana storytelling with jam-rock spirit. Burlington’s Ponyhustle leans into classic honky-tonk and 1950s–60s country sounds, and Rochester’s Public Water Supply explores a genre-bending mix of alternative rock and Americana textures.

True to its welcoming ethos, Party on the Patio remains a free event open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to come as they are — whether that means dancing front and center or relaxing with friends on the patio. The venue offers a full range of beverages, including beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options, reinforcing the message that the series is about music and community first.

Organizers also extended gratitude to this year’s sponsors, including Veterans Choice Creations, Athletic Brewing, Valley Builders, Surfside, Long Run Wealth – Mercer Advisors, St. Lawrence Valley Roasters, Hotel Saranac, and Peak 47 CrossFit. Their continued support helps sustain one of the region’s most anticipated seasonal events.

Known as a cornerstone of the Adirondack live music scene, the Waterhole Music Lounge offers an expansive outdoor patio alongside its indoor Upstairs Music Hall. In the event of inclement weather, performances will move indoors, ensuring the music plays on rain or shine. As a 21+ venue, the Waterhole maintains a lively yet intimate atmosphere that draws both locals and visitors alike.

With a diverse lineup and a full summer of music ahead, Party on the Patio 2026 is poised to once again transform Thursday nights in Saranac Lake into a celebration of sound, community, and seasonal spirit.
