Global superstar Shakira will return to the New York area this summer with a newly announced stop on her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, performing at UBS Arena on July 23.

The Belmont Park date is part of a limited U.S. arena run, offering fans a rare chance to experience one of the highest-grossing tours of all time in a more intimate setting. The newly added shows arrive between major global dates and coincide with the summer’s international spotlight surrounding the FIFA World Cup.
New York fans will have multiple opportunities to catch Shakira, who is also slated to perform at Barclays Center on July 20. Together, the two-area dates mark her first major return to the region since delivering a surprise performance in Times Square that drew one of the largest crowds ever assembled at the Times Square stage.
The announcement follows the release of her latest single, Algo Tú, featuring rising Colombian artist Beéle, continuing a prolific run tied to her 2024 album Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran. The record earned widespread acclaim and a Grammy Award, further cementing her status as one of the most influential Latin artists of all time.
Since kicking off in 2025, the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour has become a global phenomenon. The tour has grossed over $400 million and sold more than 3 million tickets, earning a Guinness World Record as the highest-grossing tour by a Latin artist. Stops across North and Latin America have consistently sold out, highlighted by a historic free concert in Mexico City that drew hundreds of thousands of fans to the Zócalo.
Known for her electrifying live performances, Shakira’s current tour features elaborate choreography, dynamic staging, costume changes, and a rotating list of special guests. Past appearances have included collaborations with artists like Pitbull, Rauw Alejandro, Wyclef Jean, Black Eyed Peas, Alejandro Sanz, Ozuna, and Manuel Turizo.

Beyond New York, the 2026 tour continues its global expansion, with upcoming performances including a massive beachfront show in Rio de Janeiro and a multi-date residency in Madrid expected to draw more than half a million fans.
For New York audiences, however, the July arena run offers something increasingly rare: a chance to see Shakira — one of the biggest global performers of her generation — in a comparatively intimate setting, right in the heart of the metro area.
