Queens shoegaze-grunge band Bummer Camp announced their sophomore album Fake My Death on Tuesday, March 10, sharing new single “One Bullet” and its accompanying music video alongside the news.

Fake My Death is out May 8 via Trash Casual Records.
“One Bullet” arrives as the first taste of the new record, showcasing the melodic, emotionally direct songwriting that has earned the band praise. The track reflects the album’s central tension: the impulse to shut everything out versus the harder choice of staying present and feeling through it. Featuring a strong drumline and clear vocals with a clear grunge aesthetic, the accompanying music video leans into a grainy, vintage aesthetic, with retro visual effects that give the clip a worn, analog feel matching the song’s emotional undertow.
Originally formed as a solo loop-based project by frontman Eli Frank, Bummer Camp evolved into a full four-piece following early EP releases and their 2025 debut LP Stuck In A Dream. Frank is also known as a member of Teenage Halloween.
Rather than writing from a distance, the songs on Fake My Death frame anxiety plainly and turn it into anthems meant to be lived with.
“The desire to tune everything out to such a point that you just want to actually disappear forever is not going to help anything, especially yourself,” Frank said. “You gotta take the good, the bad, the beautiful, the ugly, and roll with it. Whether you’re being punched or hugged, feeling something is better than not feeling anything at all.”
The album was recorded at The Animal Farm, a farm-based studio in New Jersey. Brett Bivona played lead guitar, and Jon “Steel Wolf” Markson handled recording, mixing and bass, also contributing to production.
Bummer Camp will celebrate the single with a hometown show Thursday, April 3 at Gold Sounds in the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn. Tickets are available at trashcasualrecords.com.
