Indie pop favorites Passion Pit have announced a North American summer tour for 2026, including two New York performances in Buffalo and New York City.

The band will first stop in Buffalo at Electric City on July 22, before heading downstate for a July 25 performance at The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City.
Led by frontman Michael Angelakos, Passion Pit’s 2026 tour marks a return to the stage with both new material and fan favorites spanning their nearly two-decade career. The run also includes major festival appearances such as Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival and Electric Forest, placing the band back in front of large national audiences.
Best known for their breakthrough debut album Manners and its era-defining single “Sleepyhead,” Passion Pit helped shape the indie-electronic sound of the late 2000s and early 2010s. Tracks like “Take A Walk” and “Carried Away” further expanded their reach, blending shimmering synths with deeply personal songwriting.
The upcoming tour arrives alongside news of new music on the horizon, including the recently teased Pretty Penny EP. The release is expected to serve as a companion piece to their early work while reflecting Angelakos’ artistic evolution in the years since the band’s last full-length album.

Fans attending the Buffalo date can expect an intimate club setting, while the New York City show at Pier 17 offers a larger outdoor experience overlooking the East River and Lower Manhattan skyline. Together, the two performances provide distinct environments for longtime listeners and newer fans alike.
Angelakos, who has also become a prominent advocate for mental health awareness within the music industry, continues to guide Passion Pit through its latest chapter with a balance of nostalgia and forward-looking creativity.
With new music incoming and a full summer of live shows ahead, Passion Pit’s return to New York highlights both their enduring appeal and the continued resonance of their signature sound.
