Frankie Fest has announced a massive LGBTQ+ Rock lineup for the 2026 Frankie Fest at Brooklyn House of Yes. Headlining the event is Girl in a Coma, Boy Jr., and The FMS as the stars’ tribute to the late queer-punk icon Frankie Rex.

Frankie Fest is an annual queer rock festival celebrating LGBTQ+ and the legacy of Frankie Maddox Rex. Frankie Rex was the co-founder and co-vocalist for the synth punk band the FM’s, and tragically passed away in 2022. The event guarantees to bring a collision of alt-rock, punk, and immersive theatrical performance for an exciting and distinctive experience celebrating the legacy of Frankie Rex.
Girl In A Coma, an indie-punk trio from San Antonio, will return for their recent reunion as they headline the festival. In addition, Boy Jr., a genre-defying alt-pop star, will perform alongside sets from UgLi, Cat Crush, Theophobia, and Villins.
In addition, the festival will feature a cast of extraordinary burlesque, drag, and variety performers with Faux Pas Le Fae, Aurora North, Topher Bousquet, Kita St. Cyr, Alaska Lostboy, Tre Blaze, Nola Bunny, Specialhead, Miu Soda & Valentina, and Butchie.
Co-founders of the festival, Miss Cherry Delight and The FMS, will take the stage specifically to honor Frankie Rex. The event not only serves as a memorial for Frankie Rex but also a continuation of their mission to create unapologetic spaces for trans, non-binary, and queer artists.
In addition, DJ Goth Dad will be anchoring the night, transitioning the live rock showcase into a late-night dance party. The doors will open for the event at 7:00pm on Sunday, May 3rd, at House of Yes. Tickets and more information may be found here.
