Noon Fifteen to Perform “Rubber Soul” at Liquid State Brewing on March 28

Ithaca soul-pop-rockers Noon Fifteen will cover the classic 1965 Beatles album Rubber Soul in its entirety at Liquid State Brewing Co. in Ithaca. The March 28 show will feature legendary songs “In My Life,” “Norwegian Wood,” “Nowhere Man,” and more.

The band will also perform a set of original material, including new single “Imposter” from their forthcoming LP Finish What You Started.

Noon Fifteen Rubber Soul

Hailed as “a small town band with a big imagination,” Ithaca’s “prog soul” rockers Noon Fifteen deliver fun, imaginative songs with rich vocal harmonies and old-school instrumentation. Mandy Goldman (vocals & guitar), Samuel B. Lupowitz (keyboards & vocals), Joe Massa (guitar), Dan Collins (drums, percussion, vocals) and Harry Nichols (bass & vocals) are taking the band into its second decade with their infectious mix of dance grooves, rock opera grandeur, and melodies that will follow you all the way home. Think Queen meets Aretha, or Lake Street Dive by way of Yes, and for these longtime friends and collaborators, nothing is musically off-limits.

“This project has been a real labor of love for us, and a great way to both connect with our shared influences and also grow together as a band. It’s a celebration of this music that has been so beloved for over half a century, and we hope to introduce some new folks to Noon Fifteen in the process.” -Samuel B. Lupowitz, keyboards & vocals.

With a series of single releases on deck, the band’s long-percolating third album, the aptly-titled Finish What You Started, is slated for release in fall 2026, marking Noon Fifteen’s 10-year anniversary. While several Finish What You Started tracks have been staples of the band’s live show, and more than a few have appeared as interactive 360º videos on the band’s YouTube channel, the completed LP will connect the individual songs across their multi-year recording journey, through their unifying theme of facing fear.

The band has also continued to release music both via streaming and through their behind-the-scenes podcast. Their contribution to the 2026 NPR Tiny Desk Contest, “The Data Center Song,” skewers AI slop and the greed and community destruction required to bring it about, in support of the No Data Center FLX movement.

Noon Fifteen kick off 2026 performing the Beatles album Rubber Soul in its entirety at Liquid State Brewing Co. in Ithaca, on Saturday, March 28th.
