Caramoor Announces 2026 Summer Season in Katonah

Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts announced its 2026 Summer Season, featuring over 30 performances from Saturday, June 20 through Saturday, Aug. 2 at the 81-acre historic estate in Katonah. The season spans classical, opera, chamber music, jazz, American roots and global sounds across five distinct settings.

Tony Award winner Kelli O’Hara opens the season Saturday, June 20 at 7 p.m. performing with the Orchestra of St. Luke’s conducted by Rob Fisher with Dan Lipton as music director. The program features selections from the American Songbook, Broadway repertoire and pop standards.

The Summer Season immerses the entire estate in music, with performances across the Venetian Theater, Spanish Courtyard, Friends Field, Sunken Garden and the Music Room. Located at 149 Girdle Ridge Road in Katonah, the former home of music and art lovers Walter and Lucie Rosen has evolved into one of the region’s most distinctive destinations for live performances.

Highlights include pianist Yuja Wang collaborating with Latin ensemble People of Earth on Thursday, July 23, classical artists Hélène Grimaud on Thursday, June 25 and Les Arts Florissants performing Charpentier’s Les Arts Florissants and La Descente d’Orphée aux enfers on Friday, July 17.

The season features performances by Punch Brothers on Saturday, July 18, Patty Griffin on Saturday, July 11, Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers on Saturday, Aug. 1 and Mark Morris Dance Group on Thursday, July 30.

Community-focused events include a Juneteenth performance by the Dedicated Men of Zion on Sunday, June 21 at 4 p.m., a Pride celebration with Isaac Mizrahi on Friday, June 26, and the annual Pops, Patriots and Fireworks program on Saturday, July 4 marking the United States’ 250th anniversary. The season also includes the return of the family series Dancing at Dusk and contemplative Music and Meditation in the Garden performances.

The Caramoor Jazz Festival on Saturday, July 25 fills the grounds with performances by El Arte Del Bolero (Miguel Zenon & Luis Perdomo), Jazz at Lincoln Center Summer Jazz Academy Big Bands and more, concluding with an evening performance by Emmet Cohen Trio at 7:30 p.m.

Violinist Gil Shaham performs with the Orchestra of St. Luke’s conducted by Xian Zhang on Sunday, Aug. 2 for the season finale. The American Roots Music Festival, presented in collaboration with City Winery, takes place Saturday, June 27 at 12:30 p.m.

Gillian Fox, Caramoor President and CEO, emphasized the season reflects the organization’s commitment to presenting exceptional artists spanning a broad range of musical traditions while creating welcoming pathways for audiences of every age.

She expressed particular delight in welcoming back Dancing at Dusk, the beloved children’s concert series that invites families to experience the joy of music together and helps spark a lifelong connection to the arts.

Sonic Innovations, Caramoor’s seasonal exhibition of sound art installations across the grounds, runs June through October. Works currently on display include installations by Trimpin, Lisa Renée Coons, Liz Phillips, Annea Lockwood and Bob Bielecki, Ranjit Bhatnagar and Taylor Deupree.

Tickets for Caramoor 2026 Summer Season are available at caramoor.org, by phone at 914-232-1252 Tuesdays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or at the box office two hours before performances. Members receive first access to purchase concert tickets, with public on-sale beginning Tuesday, March 17 at 10 a.m.

Caramoor is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for free exploration of the grounds. A free Metro-North shuttle runs from Katonah train station to and from Caramoor before and after every afternoon and evening concert during the summer season.
