Great South Bay Music Festival Announces 2026 Lineup Featuring My Morning Jacket, Sublime, Gov’t Mule and More

The Great South Bay Music Festival will return to Shorefront Park in Patchogue this summer for its 18th anniversary, bringing four days of music, art, and community to Long Island’s waterfront from July 23–26, 2026.

The long-running festival, widely regarded as Long Island’s largest music event, will once again transform the Patchogue shoreline into a multi-stage celebration of rock, jam, reggae, alternative, and more. Organizers have announced an initial lineup that includes My Morning Jacket, Sublime, Gov’t Mule, The Used, Bruce Hornsby & the Noisemakers, Little Feat, Common Kings, Sierra Hull, KOYO, Cartel, NY Ska Jazz, and Deadlands, with additional artists expected to be revealed in the coming months. Held at scenic Shorefront Park, the four-day festival will feature 55 performers across three stages, along with artisan vendors, craft markets, food vendors, and beverage tents. Festival organizers will also host a pop-up experience from Happy Days Dispensary, one of New York State’s highest-rated recreational cannabis retailers.

Thursday: Emo and Pop-Punk Throwback

The festival opens Thursday night with a throwback celebration of early 2000s alternative and emo rock. Headlining the evening will be The Used, joined by Cartel, Koyo, and Deadlands, among others. The opening night will feature more than nine performers across two stages.

Friday: Rock-Reggae Beach Party

Friday’s annual Rock-Reggae Beach Party brings the festival’s signature reggae-rock vibe to the Great South Bay shoreline. Legendary ska-punk group Sublime returns to headline with Jakob Nowell, son of the late Bradley Nowell, joined by original members Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh.

The night will also feature Hawaiian reggae favorites Common Kings and Florida’s The Ries Brothers, delivering a blend of rock, reggae, ska, and hip-hop. The Friday lineup will include roughly twelve performers across three stages.

Saturday: Jam Day

Saturday continues the festival’s tradition of “Jam Day,” anchored by headliners Gov’t Mule, led by guitarist and vocalist Warren Haynes. Supporting the night will be pianist and songwriter Bruce Hornsby with the Noisemakers.

Also performing are bluegrass virtuoso Sierra Hull and improvisational trio LaMP, featuring guitarist Scott Metzger along with Russ Lawton and Ray Paczkowski. Jam Day will feature seventeen performers across three stages.

Sunday: My Morning Jacket Closes the Festival

Closing out the weekend on Sunday will be My Morning Jacket, delivering what organizers expect to be a sprawling two-and-a-half-hour set blending rock, psychedelia, country, and improvisational elements. Supporting the final night will be legendary rock band Little Feat, currently on their farewell tour.

Family Activities and Local Artists

Beyond the music, the Great South Bay Music Festival will once again host a family-friendly children’s entertainment area on Saturday and Sunday, featuring magicians, puppeteers, musicians, and costumed characters.

The festival will also continue its long-standing tradition of supporting emerging artists, with more than 27 original local performers expected to appear across the weekend.

Community Impact

Community involvement remains central to the festival’s mission. A portion of every ticket sold will benefit the GSB–Stony Brook Cancer Center Fund, which has raised more than $250,000 for cancer research and patient support to date. GSB – Announce Press Release – …

Local nonprofit organizations will also participate through the festival’s “Storyville Tent,” which provides space for groups raising awareness and support for causes including domestic violence survivors, homelessness initiatives, pet rescue organizations, and voter registration efforts.
