Rising Country Artist Anna Vaus at The Sherman Theater

On February 28th country singer Anna Vaus opened for Maddie and Tae’s (Maddie Font and Taylor “Tae” Kerr) tour at The Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg, PA.

The performance started out with Anna coming out on stage with her husband Kevin Monahan who accompanied her on guitar. They played a wide range of her songs from songs like Scenic Route to others like Dust. We also got surprised with an unreleased song called Baby’s Alright. During her performance despite the technical difficulties, she kept the crowd engaged and singing along with her.

The Set list we got to hear included: Everybody Wants to Rule the World, Dust, Born on a Windy Day, Dreams, Downhill From Here, Scenic Route, Baby’s Alright (unreleased), How About That, and Happy Trails. This setlist not only flowed really well but also kept the fans engaged and singing along the whole time. Many talked about the performance even after the show.

During Maddie Font and Taylor “Tae” Kerr’s performance they bought out Anna to sing A Heart They Didn’t Break with them. When Maddie and Tae bought her out, they announced that Anna is actually the one that wrote A Heart They Didn’t Break.

During the show Anna also surprised us with news of her Deluxe album that will be coming out very soon. While we weren’t told the date we were told it wouldn’t be much longer of a wait. She talked about her journey leading up to her first album and then what lead up to the Deluxe edition. Despite what people told her in life she has not let this hold her back on her dreams. Instead, she uses it to push forward and reach her goals.

After the show fans new and old lined up at the merch table to meet Anna. During this time many say Anna is a genuine kind, amazing and talented person, which she definitely showed between interacting with fans while being on stage and off.
