Saturday, February 21 at Del Lago Resort and Casino’s musical venue, The Vine, was packed tight with the promise of seeing Bush, the 90’s British born, rock and grunge heroes before they kick off a European tour. You could feel the anticipation in the crowd while the stage was prepared for the concert, and the crowd looked on, wanting to see the world-famous band, some not for the first time, and others finally getting the chance to live that dream.
The promise of an amazing experience was immediately apparent as drummer Nik Hughes took the stage first, giving an enthusiastic build up to the entrance of his bandmates Nick Traynor, Corey Britz and frontman Gavin Rossdale.

The excitement coming from the crowd could have been measured on the Richter Scale, between screams and overwhelming amounts of people singing along right with the music the second the entire band was on stage. There was no time to waste, as Bush came with one goal in mind: to play a fantastic concert.
From the first note of “Zen,” you could tell this was a different band, a different concert, a different dedication level. It was as if the band was playing for every single individual simultaneously, almost intimate. This was not any band though, this was Bush, a band that played through the radio and had survived the test of time, still selling a massive theater to the brink.

Bush’s fame came in the mid 90’s with their 1994 release of Sixteen Stone with songs still in their repertoire, like “Glycerine” and “Machine Head.” But the band never stopped after the hit debut, with over a dozen studio albums, live albums and compilations, and most recently their 2025 studio album, I Beat Loneliness, which includes songs “Scars,” “The Land of Milk and Honey,” “I Am Here to Save Your Life” and the title track. When musicians love their music as much as Bush does, it shines through and that was felt in every song that was played with unmatched energy.

Bush kicks off their upcoming world tour on April 7th at the UMPC Events Center outside Pittsburgh, PA, then down to Washington D.C. and back to New York City at the Brooklyn Paramount on April 10th, a great opportunity if you missed out of couldn’t get tickets this time around. This tour will take Bush all over the United States until early June when the band will head overseas and complete their European leg including the United Kingdom, Italy and Austria, finally closing out the tour in Miramar Beach, Florida for Shinedown’s Lunatic Ball on October 23rd – 25th.
