The 32nd annual Bands N’ Beans, hosted by the Lake George Arts Project, has announced its lineup for the Sunday, March 29 fundraiser event. The event will include a total of nine talented local artists and 25 different restaurants competing in the chili competition.

The event includes two stages where the nine artists will perform throughout the event. The Bands N’ Beans Ballroom Stage will feature a lineup of The Stony Creek Band, The Lustre Kings, Big Fez and the Surfmantics, ILL Funk Ensemble, and Harmony Rocks. In addition, the Acoustic Room will feature Northern Borne, Mark & Jill, Shine On, and Dirt Cheap.

The event is centered on the competition between 25 local restaurants as they battle for the People’s Choice Award for their best chili creations.
The event is additionally a fundraiser for the Lake George Arts Project is free and open-to-all art programs. Lake George Arts Project is an extremely active non-profit in the area. Last year, they presented 18 exhibitions, 38 concerts, and 40+ partnership programs and special events. Their mission is to provide exposure opportunities for artists and musicians and free music and events for attendees. All proceeds from the Bands N’ Beans event will go towards initiatives such as the Summer Concert Series, the Courthouse Gallery exhibitions, and their most popular Jazz at the Lake festival.
Tickets for Bands N’ Beans will include access to all bands and the opportunity to try chili from 25 different local restaurants, with the event hosted at the Fort William Henry Conference Center in Lake George.
